Bennett Gordon is the assistant online editor for Utne Reader. Born in Minnesota, he graduated from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived in New York City for two years before moving back to Minneapolis. Bennett edits the Science and Technology blog and contributes frequently to all seven Utne blogs. A former technophobe who didn’t want to carry a cell phone, Bennett has embraced technology and, since beginning work at Utne Reader, has worn out the roll bar on two mice and is working on his third.
